Lovin it should have have bought it a long time ago to clear hard to reach branches or killin myself with manual pole saw battery lasts longer than expected I’m goin to buy an extra battery for backup in case I want to cut whole forest down ( lol ) and maybe a extra extension for pole although for right now whut I have is plenty

Good Saw But Improvement Needed

This saw works well for all intended purposes ‘but’, it’s quite a chore keeping blade tight. And if blade jumps then the underside of blade gets bradded to the point it will no longer run in its track.
Pros:
  • light weight
Cons:
  • Keeping blade tight is a chore
Best Used for:
  • Cutting hard to reach limbs in shooting lanes

Good Product. Great Price and Service

This is the second Hooyman saw that I have owned. The first lasted longer than expected given the abuse that it has been through. The battery life is exceptional and the saw is very powerful. I had purchased an additional length for my previous saw and loved the extra length for the occasional high limbs. I use this primarily for trimming limbs and branches around deer stands, but also use it around my yard. I love the light weight of this item when compared to gasoline powered units (which I own as well). When my old saw broke I was delighted to see it on sale for such a great price on Optics Planet. The only con that I have is that the unit leaks bar lube oil when being stored and not in use, which leaves a mess. I would highly recommend this product and Optics Planet.

Lightweight and works great

This lightweight pole chainsaw works great. It will cut right through a 5" limb that I have cut. It is not heavy so it doesn't wear you out working. I am a 71 yr old Gma and can use this saw easily. Runs great.
