Hoppe’s snake den
Great improvement, if your like me you own multiple bore snake’s . No more confusion or need to worry about a mess. Toss it in your range with the new caliber correct container. Simple but a great idea.

Not so great
Great concept, but this does not live up to what it promises. After using this snake with Hoppes bore cleaner, I then ran patches through the bore and found that there was still significant powder and cooper residue. Immediately broke
I was pulling the snake through my 22 rifle and without much resistance the pull cord snapped, leaving the snake inside my rifle. Luckily there was still some sticking out and I pulled it back out. I should have got the clenzoil brand snake.

Great product, and great new case
I've used Hoppe's bore snakes in the past and find that they are a quick, clean and efficient way to clean my gun bores. But I have to say, the new cases are awesome! The cover of the case now doubles as a handle to pull the snake through the bore, so you get more leverage, and don't strain your hand / wrist as much. And then, once you're finished, you just wrap it all back up, drop it in the case and pop the lid back on. Perfect for carrying in your gun bag, so it's always handy! Great job Hoppe's, making an already great product even better! Gotta love good old American innovation!
