Of course Hoppes has been well known for years now as a quality cleaner and lubricant but the best thing about these one in particular in the lack of harsh chemical smells. This allows you to clean indoors or in area that don’t have the best ventilation

Gets copper out

I use this product for cleaning all my firearms, and during my barrel break in process to help eliminate layering powder fouling over copper. Works fast with minimal scrubbing and doesn't have strong smell.

Hoppe’s Gun Cleaner

This product works very well to maintain my firearms. It doesn’t tarnish or damage my gun’s finish and it works fast to remove stubborn baked on carbon. I fully recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a great cleaner.

Hoppe's 9 Elite Gun Cleaner

I used this on an AR that had over 300 rounds shot through it since it was last cleaned. I was impressed with how quickly this cleaner did its job. Then broke the bolt carrier group down and again was impressed on how the product worked this time on some carbon build up. I would recommend this product.

Best gun cleaning products out there.

It doesn't matter if you're cleaning a pistol a competition gun or rifle an AR this stuff cleans at all. I have been using for years without fail these new Elite products are even better very little scrubbing very little effort

Hoppes has always been a great gun cleaning product, and this product is no different.Does a great job removing the lead and copper build up in my barrels.
Highly recommended.
Would also like to see hoppes come out with a pump applicator

Works Great!

I find that this stuff works better than my regular CLP when it comes to cleaning out carbon. I usually clean out my rifle with a wet wipe or baby wipe, let it dry, and then go over it with Hoppe's Gun Cleaner. It passes the q-tip test almost every time. A good 30 minute clean after 200-300 rounds leaves the rifle spotless. It's a great cleaner but I'm not sure about lube. I usually use CLP at the end to lube, not sure if it's necessary though.

-Tip: Spray some into the cap so you don't waste it and then use a q-tip in to get into the hard to get areas. A little goes a long way.

**Results vary on how good you are at cleaning.

Love Hoppe's have used it for years and the large pump spray bottle is very convenient and inexpensive. Does a great job on carbon and copper removal with a minimal effort. Ho harsh or lasting smell

Simply The Best

After 40 years in the military - combat arms - Hoppe's is what I have used early on in my service and continue to use today now that I have my own shooting range and shoot nearly every day; I always use Hoppe's to clean all of my weapons!
