The manufacturer has changed the 500 count bulk pack 1204S from synthetic patches (which I loved) to their cotton patches (which I hate). These are COTTON patches - not synthetic
The product description does not specify the patch material. One of the questions asked if they are cotton or synthetic; the answer given was 'synthetic'. That's exactly what I needed, but unfortunately THE ITEM I RECEIVED WAS COTTON, which was printed directly on the front of the packaging. The lack of a proper material description was why I removed one star from the product rating.

Good for AR
I got the 22 cal pack. It's reasonably priced and I felt that they did a good job cleaning my AR barrel. I usually use old white t-shirt patches but ran out of them and these work pretty much the same. I did have to use two at a time with my cleaning rod to get a tight / scrubbing fit.

Buy the 60 count Model: 1202 synthetic for the win.
For best performance, use synthetic bore cleaning patches from Hoppes. 1202 model # and the 60 count is the synthetic version vs the 500 count which is cotton.

Hoppe's "synthetic" patch is thin and leaves no lint behind like cotton. When you apply a solvent or lube on the .22 patch the liquid spreads nicely over patch.

Excellent products
They Do a good job of picking up debris in barrel from firing. They are very durable and strong. Would recommend for firearm cleaning. Are available in many sizes making them very versatile for any caliber of gun.

Gun Cleaning Patches
If you are looking for some cut to size cleaning patches these are the ones to get. These are great for being able to just grab one and thread it on the end of your cleaning rod and put some cleaning fluid or for laying a layer of oil on your firearm. I love these like I said because they are cut to size, no more having to find some cloth and cutting into small patches. It saves you a lot of time that's for sure.

Bore Patches
Fairly simple product worked well no left over threads. They were very consistent. They were absorbent and pushed through the rifle well. Heavy duty patches. These are not the thin ones that you sometimes find.
