All in all I love the whole system, and have it set up in a way that seems just perfect for everything I need to carry under a large number of scenarios. The construction is great, zippers are good, but some aren't double zippers. I set it up so the frame has all my essentials I never want to be without, and can fit enough for overnights in the small bag, with food sack in the meat bag (can just strap to outside if need to fill the meat bag). You can really carry a lot without even using the large bag. A few little adjustments and this could be the ultimate pack.

Starting with the frame: Weight would be good to shave down a bit, seems like the hip belt has some extra bulk that could go, especially in the padding. The padding in general, for both hip belt and shoulders, I think should be replaced with something less thick, wider, and softer. There's extra layers of padding in the belt, and it not only crowds the space in the hip pouches, but also makes the belt too bulky and stiff and uncomfortable because it doesn't wrap around nicely. The shoulder straps on the G5 pack are better, but I don't like the foam hip padding on that pack. If Horn Hunter redesigned the hip belt and shoulder straps so they could be swapped out for people who already have the pack, I'd buy it and I bet a lot of others would too. Awesome backpacks. I'm 53 years old and been hunting since I was 12. I've used this backpack for 2 years hunting in the mountains for deer. Been on 3 to 6 day Backcountry hunts. This is the most comfortable backpack I've ever owned. The breakdown system is super nice and easy to work with. Nice for the long overnight hunts. Leave your main bag at camp take small bag and main frame with you on the hunt. It leaves plenty of room to put your meat. I would highly recommend this bag for anyone to does long hunt trip and wants to be comfortable.

Well made with plenty of storage and nice options to set up your pack depending on what you're doing. Sturdy meat shelf and functional load lifter make heavy loads feel lighter and easier on your back. Just received it so have yet to pack any meat out but I hauled my 50 pound daughter around the house with ease. These newer Full Curls have more adjustability to fit the pack to your torso. The belt adjustability is easy and snugs up nicely without slipping. Is this pack a Kifaru? No. But it's well thought out and is versatile and sturdy for those long, heavy hauls.

This product came packaged great and seems very sturdy. Delivery was faster than I expected. I cannot wait to get this pack into the elk woods!! It was also priced lower than anywhere else that I could find.

The horn hunter pack is awesome use it for horn hunting and elk hunting the pack works perfect with the meeat bag optic planet has the best prices for the pack also and delivery was super fast my only complaint is the hole pack is not camo horn hunter used to make the pack all camo and now they don't I don't get it hunting packs should be camo what was horn hunter thinking when they stoped making it in camo???? But a great pack all in all just not camo any more!!!!

Haven't used it yet, but love the pack. Really comfortable for being so big and heavy. It's got all kinds of pockets and seems really well thought out. Made in America too, so can't beat that. I was able to shove my mummy bag in the bottom pocket and a REI Half Dome 2p in the main pocket, witch room to spare. Can't wait to use this pack for hiking/camping/elk hunting!

Haven't used it yet but first impression it's a Swiss army pack. Tons of straps, pockets and versatility. Only bad is its not all camo just the day pack. Looks like it will hold plenty of gear for day or overnight trips. Can't wait to try it!
