My Vanguard .270 likes 130gr better than 150gr. Wanted a heavier bullet for an elk hunt, so took a chance on Precision Hunter 145gr. It shoots better than my usual 130 gr - sub Moa and I don't claim to be a particularly good shot. Elk is dead, Im happy. Do I need MOA? No but it feels good to achieve it.
Hornady Precision Hunter .270 Review
I placed an order for 200 rounds of the Hornady Precision ammo with Optics Planet on December 23, 2024. Upon receipt I was excited to check them out. A friend of mine and myself headed to the range. Together we fired approximately 100 rounds. This ammo proved to be everything Optics Planet and the manufacturer said it would be. Accuracy from within two to three inches at 100 yards. It doesn’t get much better than that. My son in law took a few of the rounds dear hunting, shot ten point buck and dropped it right in its tracks at three hundred yards.
I would highly recommend this ammo to anyone looking for a high quality ammo and I highly recommend contacting Optics Planet for purchasing. I have found them to have the best ammo at unbeatable prices.

ELD-X ammunition
I am a real fan of ELD-X ammunition. I have used it in numerous hunts and it excels in results. It is accurate, reliable, and deadly.
There are lots of different bullets, many of them are excellent, but there are none that are better in my experience.

Pleasantly surprised
I'm 76 years old and have purchased many boxes of ammo from OP ..I have been impressed with the timely manner in which they have shipped my orders and the superb packaging. Furthermore, I had only incurred one problem whereby they shipped one box of ammo less then what I ordered...I called customer service and they explained their staff is only human and therefore possible to make an error..they informed me they would review the video of the the person packaging my order...I immediately received the missing box of ammo and will definitely continue doing business with OP due to the wonderful and genuine response to my situation!!
