As advertised
Averaged 1000fps out of my 10" barrel, suppressed or unsuppressed, @45*F. Did not feed the next rounds unsuppressed, but did get bolt lockback.
Suppressed they run flawlessly.

My buddy and I took turns with groups of 4 on 5 different targets. This was the worst performing round out of everything we shot that day and we were very surpris...

Well over 1100 fps not subsonic. Wish hornady could get their powder right and advertise the correct velocity for once.

Accurate and quiet
Excellent ammo in any way. No issues. I can’t comment on penetration, bleeding and damages within a body. Sorry

Learning Curve
Shooting with a 16-inch barreled AR. Supers in the 150-grain range can be zeroed at 100 yards. These 190-grain Hornady Subs with a good suppressor will drop 6-inches at 100 yards. Quiet, consistent performance and low recoil. Beyond 110 yards, any slow heavy grained subs drop like rocks. Recalibrate, adjust your scope and mortar lob subs out past this distance. Note: Deer can and do jump the twang of a bowstring. They also jump the unnatural and sonic moving sound of the ‘poof’ from a suppressor in the very still and quiet countryside. Ask me how I know when the 4-point jumped, turned and walked back into the heavy brush 113-yards from me. Amax and various designed projectiles for 300 Blackout, create 30 caliber pencil holes straight through and through deer and hogs. They keep on running away leaving long sporadic blood trails. Keep your shots within 80 yards and these suppressed Hornady SubX projectiles will slap them happy off their feet. Very pleased with the Hornady Subsonic 300 AAC blackout ammo. Purchase on sale and fast shipping with Optics Planet. Thank You.

weird yellow stuff
Left a lot of unburned powder I assume.. looks yellow. Not sure if that’s normal since this is my first time shooting subs. Definitely substantially quieter obviously
