Most Helpful Positive Review Kimber 308 classic select grade loves it
I’ve tried a lot of different brands and a lot of different grain 308. This is the most accurate out of my Kimber 308 classic select grade. Every deer shot has dropped instantly or within 50 yards. My barrel twist is supposed to like in the 160’s grain but has not rang true with mine. Works great and not the most expensive.

Great ammo at a good price

Hornady ammo is a well known brand with a reputation for producing quality ammo. This is no exception. I’ve been using the American Whitetail line of 308 ammo for years and have always had great results. Most of my hunting is for whitetail deer and hogs and it works great. This is my go to ammo for hunting.

Hornady American Whitetail .308 150 Gr. InterLock

From my experience of harvesting midwest whitetails in brushy thickets, thick timber, & open river bottoms. This round is a proven performer across short-range, mid-range, and long-range shots. Large wound channels, broken bones, soft tissue damage, and fatal organ damage are the trademark of this lethal Hornady round.

Old Hunter

Have used hornady ammunition for several years. The american whitetail is excellent for hogs and deer in 308 150gr and 168gr. You can pay more but if your rifle likes these rounds why would you. My savage 110 and remington vtr both will be one to one and a quarter inch with 100 yard zero. My 6.5 Savage Highcountry will do better with Hornady 143. Clean rounds with zero misfires.
