Tight Group
Sighted in my CVA 35 Whelen and was hitting quarter size groupings at 100 yards using a shooting stick. This ammunition was consistently accurate as I shot two boxes. You can’t go wrong with Hornsby, even though it is a little costly. Well worth the price.
Best Cartridge Developed
The Hornady Superformance offers energy for the 35 Whelen that no other Manufacturer is able to produce. The velocity and weight and diameter produce kenetic engergy up to 338 Win Mag. This loading does this with less powder making it more efficient and significantly less recoil. I’ve used this specific loading for all deer species, feral pigs, sheep, goat, and all bear species including costal/ Kodiak brown bear. When going on a multi species hunt in Alaska no cartridge is better for deer and 1,500lb brown bear.

- Deer and larger including dangerous in the Americas game. Great for plains game in Africa

Knock down power
I have killed 8-10 deer with this round. The few that did run off didn’t go far and had a good blood trail Feel safe to shoot whitetail deer out to 250 yards This caliber is legal to use in a single shot rifle during the primitive weapon season. Also hunt with this round when hunting in a short range stand.

Hornady 35 Whelen
The Hirnady Superformance, 200 grsin is the only bullet I have ever used in my Apex 35 Whelen. Consistent tight groups. Accurate and deadly. They don't run when hit with thus bullet. Have taken many deer and hogs with one shot. Why mess with success?

Worth the Wait
They held my place in line to get my back order which means they keep top notch records! Ordered in March and I just purchased them in December. They sent me an email stating that the back order was ready. I called and received excellent service to seal the deal. At only my fault they could not charge my card and sent a follow up email giving me another shot. I called again and got the same excellent service from a different employee. Top Notch!
