Very Impressive

Shot this cartridge from a Ruger Super Red hawk, 9 1/2 barrel off a rest for accuracy. The placement was very impressive with 6 shots in the Black at 25 yards. Muzzle Rise was minimal for this caliber, felt like the energy was mostly straight back. Must also say these results from the red hawk are with using a Leupold 4X scope. This is an expensive round no doubt about it but if you can't or don't hand load these would be a good go to round for Hog hunting or similar animal.

Ran it through a Performance Center Hunter @50yds. Pistol likes it, groups are tight and the fluid displacement was awesome. Clean.

I have used the Hornady xtp bullets for years in a muzzleloader and have put a lot of meat on the table. It's a great bullet. Hornady's loaded ammunition is no exception. Hornady is always consistent, accurate and reliable.
