After reading the FBI and Police Armourer reports on ammunition I chose to try this round because of documented performance through heavy clothing and expansion and penetration performance. This was ammunition was rated as the top performing defensive round in .38 spl, 9mm, .45 ACP. Stands to reason the .44 special round will be as impressive if needed.
