Most Helpful Positive Review Outstanding for self defense!
After reading the FBI and Police Armourer reports on ammunition I chose to try this round because of documented performance through heavy clothing and expansion and penetration performance. This was ammunition was rated as the top performing defensive round in .38 spl, 9mm, .45 ACP. Stands to reason the .44 special round will be as impressive if needed.

This is probably the best ammo for action-lever! Reliable relatively cheap compared with other 44 ammo. No fail and very low kickback. Highly recommended

Critical situation option

I am admittedly recommending this ammunition without having used it, so far. I have fired various rounds in my revolver, and their performance has been satisfactory. The soft lead bullet delivers accuracy and lethality. Hornandy's Critical Defense FTX round provides an alternative. It's well made, and has a good reputation. If the round gets used, things will have gone south, so "hope for the best, prepare for the worst".
