I always have a rifle in the truck when traveling around checking livestock. 7.62x39 is the caliber of choice it works great on coyotes which we are always managing. I use the same rifle for deer because inside 250 yards it does a great job. Used this Hornady black on a 300 pound 185 inch Nebraska buck at 100 yards and anchored him. Can’t recommend any better ammo especially in 7.62x39.
Pros:
- Ammo is consistently accurate and hits hard.
Cons:
- This ammo is expensive for the caliber.
Best Used for:
- Varmit and deer sized animals.
