Most Helpful Positive Review Great seating die.

This die, coupled with the microjust seating stem, work wonderfully. I get all my bullets seated dead on where I want them every time now. Just back off .005 each time you seat a bullet, seat, measure, adjust, then seat, and done. I also like that I can use the same die to seat 260 rem., and 6.5 creedmoor.

I have the 38 caliber .057” seating die #044145 and love it. I use it for my 9mm rounds as well as jacketed 38 bullets.
Bullet alignment is perfect as advertised which is a great reason to use these. I don’t need to manually align the bullet so I’m not getting bit by the press anymore.
This die came with a flat nose seating stem and a round nose seating stem. Adjusting seating depth is simple and the locknut provides a solid fix against the rubber washer with no tools required. There is no backlash in the seating depth adjustment screw after you snug down the locknut. This particular die does not crimp.
In addition to the 38 seating die, I have the Hornady seat and crimp dies for 10mm/40 cal and 30-30 Winchester. They are both fantastic. They all came with spare clips so I am impressed.
No more seating does from the Cheapie guys for me.

Great Bullet Seater at a Great Price

Just what I needed, Hornady is the best mid-price seater there is, only Forster is better for precision low runout rounds for the next price point. I am supposed to write more to be at least 200 words.

Great 6.5 Seating Die

I use Hornady Custom dies for both of my Target Rifles. This die came with an extra insert for ELD-Match 6.5 MM target bullets, which prevents bullet damage when seating long Ogive target bullets. Very happy with this purchase! Braz

Nice straight seating

This die was easy to set and produced real consistent results. I liked it better than many of my old standard seating dies. Some of the old ones did not guide the bullets and swelled the case when doing a slight crimp.

Hornady Bullet seating die

I bought this die for my 458 socom that I use 300 gr Barnes TTSX bullets. Hornady products are of high quality and I have used them for years. I have purchased other products from Optics Planet and have been satisfied with my purchases.

Best Seating Dies

I have found that Hornady has the best seating dies I have used. I have used other dies and had COL that vary as much as +/- .010 inches, with this die I have COL's of less than +/-.003. If you are looking to keep your COL consistent, this is the die you want to use.

Best seating die ever

No other seater produces such consistently straight ammo. I used this Hornady bullet seating die along with the Hornady micro meter to get a more precise and consistent seating depth on my 6.5 creedmoor. The combo worked great and improved my reloads and group size.
