This is a excellent product that no person reloading should be with out. At times we all have to pull apart some bullets and this is the quick and easy way to do it.The Hornady Cam Lock Puller and Collets is a must have product.

works for 7mm

Couldnt find any for 284 cal in stock at the time, so i took a chance with this one (277 cal). Work perfectly and didnt damage any of the bullets. Highly recommend when in a pickle like that

Great for Pulling RIFLE Bullets

The collet fits the pulling tool very well and does not leave any marks on the pulled bullets. I asked about using it for pistol bullets and we sternly told by the Hornady rep that is was for rifle bullets only. It does work great on rifle bullets!

Got this to pull bullets and it broke on the first pistol round. Contacted Hornady and was told it is not made to pull pistol bullets, only rifle bullets. Will buy RCBS type.

Hornady cam lock bullet puller

This tool worked exceptionally, I had accidentally loaded over 100 233 cartridges with 1grm too much powder, I thought I had just wasted a lot of components,but thanks to this puller I was able to save all but 4 bullets and then correctly reload with no problems. I recommend this reloading tool

This is the most effective and easy to use bullet puller I’ve ever used. I wish I had discovered this sooner.

We’ve all done it; wrong powder, incorrect seating depth, decided to try a new bullet with a known load…Hornady’s Cam Lock bullet puller is by far the best way to pull the bullet from unwanted ammo and it doesn’t ruin precious components we may need and be unable to replace. Other solutions struggle with crimped loads and are frustratingly slow by comparison. I know, I have used them all over the years. Cam-Lock is 10-100X faster when substituting varmint bullets for FMJ on bulk 223. With other tools, pulling the FMJ bullets takes forever by comparison.

it worked as advertised although the cam-lock puller itself takes a little adjusting to in order to get the collet in the right place on the bullet. That being said, I will buy other size collets for my other calibers.

This a must for reloading. No more flimsy kinetic bullet pullers where the jaws don't hold. Using the cam-lock system with your press makes it a simple and reliable process every time. Just get the specific bullet puller collet you and your all set.
