Retired telecom exec - Hornady Frontier .223 Remington 68 Grain Boat-Tail Hollow Point Centerfire Rifle Ammunition

This ammo will not fire with RELIABILITY in ALL .223 chambered bolt action rifles. The problem is the ammo is loaded with military grade primers and my not fire if the rifle firing pin does not have the striking force of an AR-15 spec rifle. This ammo works GREAT in SOME of my bolt action .223 chambered rifles, but is unreliable in other bolt action rifles. Hornady is very aware of this issue but continues to strongly claim their ammo is not defective and consumer information on the packaging is OK. I believe SOME consumers with a .223 chambered rifle buying this ammo labeled .223 would have flawed confidence that the ammo would always fire reliably.
