Most Helpful Positive Review Good bang for your buck
I like the hpbt bullet. Shoots great. Showed up soon after placing my order. I ordered 2000rounds and after they showed up I bought another 2000. It does have cheaper packaging but I’m not sure that matters when it all goes in the trash anyways.

This ammo will not fire with RELIABILITY in ALL .223 chambered bolt action rifles. The problem is the ammo is loaded with military grade primers and my not fire if the rifle firing pin does not have the striking force of an AR-15 spec rifle. This ammo works GREAT in SOME of my bolt action .223 chamb...

Superb ammunition!

by Leon Rookey, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on December 26, 2024
On 12/22/24 I tested 8 different types of ammo in my Howa .223 miniaction. Most were sub moa, but this one came in at .408" group! I have already ordered 3 more boxes! It shot quite close to the Hornady Black point of impact. I reviewed this ammo too.

the best price/value in this chambering

by Hellphoenix, Verified Owner from WI, United States Written on January 6, 2024
Its in the title.. ive never had a bad round.. heading towards 1000 rounds.. there are better rounds but they cost twice as much and are a small fraction better in performance. Ive only taken these out to 350 yards but yeah.. for the price these can not be beat..

Hornady 223

by Huie, Verified Owner from SD, United States Written on September 22, 2023
Works good in my mill spec 5.56 would consider it for hunting are target shooting usual only buy 5.56 worth the money Hornady has always worked in the last 15 years of using it does have a bigger primer more like a 5.56 so don’t know how it works in a 223
Pros:
  • Reliable works
Cons:
  • Marked as 223 work don
  • Has 5.56 primer
Best Used for:
  • Hunting target
