Most Helpful Positive Review Great fit and function
A recent Remington 700 bolt gun project with a Hogue overmolded stock, a scope and low mount scope rings got me looking for a cheek riser. I needed just about a quarter of an inch on the cheek weld to get my eye aligned properly and I wasn’t willing to drill through the stock for one of the kydex adjustable type. I looked at too many to count and read more reviews than I can recall. In the end, I leaned on the credibility of Hornady products and in the end, I’m glad I did. The install took a few minutes to get “fine tuned”, but once it was set, it makes for a quick and comfortable cheek weld. ...

Hornady cheek piece

I love hornady as a company and I love this hornady cheek rest. Super soft on the cheek as it has a soft material for your cheek. Some stocks are rough and scratch under recoil and that is one of the reasons I like to put hornady cheek pieces on all my rifles. There is tons of adjustment to fit any style of butt stock for any rifle. The zipper pocket is big enough for tools, wind meter and rangefinder. And it carries extra ammo. This is my third one. I’m a fan.

Hornady Gun Cheek Pad

I placed this cheek pad on my single shot 45-70 rifle. It has cartridge loops for extra ammo & a storage compartment for smaller items. The only complaint that I have is Hornady didn't include instructions for adjustment. Great addition to my rifle.

Hornady cheek rest

Quality materials. Fit perfectly on my Ruger American after I added a little more padding. My scopes are 50 or 56 mm so I like to use high rings.Cheek rest definitely makes a difference. I will probably purchase another one for my other bolt action rifle.

Left hand custom rifle with cheek piece

I bought this cheek piece for the left hand side of a custom rifle of my dads so I could shoot it.
Fills the area perfectly so now the stock is ambitious. Just added a 243 and with an other one of these I’ll have a custom 308.
