Most Helpful Positive Review Works great and speeds up reloading!
I purchased this because I wanted to speed up my reloading. This does the trick! It's easy to setup and works great once it's adjusted. The only complaint I have is it doesn't like .40S&W. If they are bent, they get stuck in the top tube and the clear tube is just a little tight for them. I ended up spraying some of the Hornady Dri-Lube in the tube and that helped. For .223, this thing rocks and is a huge time saver. I don't have the issue with cases falling over like I've seen in the videos online. Must be a mounting issue on their ends. Hornady lock and load case feeder

Took my time putting it together and tuning and it works better than expected. Very happy with this purchase. First time I used it I loaded 500 - .45 auto in two hours and fifteen minutes. Only difficulties I had was keeping primer magazine full.

Hornady Lock-N-Load Automatic Case Feeder

I added this case feeder to my AP press in February 2018. Great addition! The feeder allows me to focus on other aspects of reloading such as powder and bullet drops. Once you get this setup for your favorite caliber it's very easy to change to another. Just document your components and swap them out. One tip I'll share, make sure the case has dropped completely before raising the handle. After a few hundred cases you'll develop a steady rhythm. Well worth it!

Terrific when adjusted

The only reason for the 3 stars is the difficulty in adjusting this unit. I am loading .223 and having to adjust the shell plate to avoid case tipping has been an issue (as with many other reviews). It seems to be about right now, after adjusting the shell plate timing with the left pawl of the press,but I haven't tried enough cases to be sure. One other problem is cases popping out of the chute top.

Setup took a little time but once you get it dialed in you will be happy. Also look on youtube for some tips and tricks. Found some issues I was having and little things made a big difference. Cost is a little high espically after buying the feeder plates but frees you up to watch powder cop.
