AP Bullet Feeding Tube
This worked well with the bullet feeding die. It is not required since the die can hold about 8 bullets in itself. The tube increase the capacity by about 30. Don't really need three. But that is the only way the come.
Worth it in time savings alone
I thought i would game the system and build my own tubes first. After two trips to the store, covering myself in sanding dust, and waiting for epoxy to cure overnight i realized that the net present value of Hornady's tubes is greater than mine. They fit precisely, they don't flex, bullets move smoothly through them, and they are aesthetically pleasing on top of my LNL-AP. The only drawback is they are open ended, so if you like to preload abs at them aside you'll need to fashion a cap for them. I found that a piece of rifle brass press fit into the end works well in a pinch. A small hole and another clip would be ideal. Overalli think these tubes are valued accurately from Opticsplanet.com and i would recommend this for anyone looking to incorporate bullet feeding into their process.
Pros:
- Fit, finish, reliability, value
Cons:
- Functionality
Best Used for:

Faster reloading without the high price
Using these tubes with a Hornady bullet feeder die. Works as expected; very sturdy. Slot shows when number of bullets is getting low. Only drawback is that it takes a little bit of time to load the tubes with bullets. But the amount of yime is minimdl compared to hanfloading each bullet.
Pros:
- safety
- Faster loader bullets
Cons:
- Time to load tubes with bullets
Best Used for:
