Hornady Lock-N-Load Headspace Gauge With Five Bushings HK66
I Measure cases after firing, then adjust my sizing die to bump the shoulder back .002 inches. Before I bought this I used a "GO-NO GO" gauge, which just tells you if the cartridge will chamber. With this gauge I can now control the headspace for more consistent and accurate loads.

Brand new box contained duplicate dies, not the five different dies (.33 through .42) advertised. There is not purpose for a duplicate die, and I needed the .420 die for case headspace measurement of a 300. Much hassle for a very basic qc issue.
Pros:
Real HK66 part
Cons:
Wrong dies
Best Used for:
Scrap or return
Would recommend: No

I used these to measure the case of fired brass and to better resize my brass to get a consistent COL on my reloads. You will also need to purchase the Hornady bullet bushings set and a case overall measurement tool to get the right COL that fits the chamber of the gun you are shooting.
Pros:
good price
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
better reloading
Would recommend: Yes

This tool is a must have if you wish to control headspace in your reloading to increase accuracy and hopefully increase case life. Too much headspace causes overworking your brass and not enough causes feeding issues. This gauge system will dfinately help you control headspace in your reloads at an affordable price. There are several methods of resizing brass, but the only way to know if that round that you have reloaded is going to function is to know that you have the proper headspace in your chamber. Individual headspace gauges may be a touch more accurate, but this system will work for the reloaded that is looking a way to know and control headspacse in your rifle. I gave 4 stars due to the material being aluminum and I question aluminum’s longevity and accuracy. For the price point of this set I was willing to give it a try. I like the ease of use, but would rather see the inserts made of brass or stainless steel. The tool is very easy to set up and use, the anvil (which is a seperate purchase) should be included in the kit. Anvil gives a wider solid base on calipers to measure accurately. All in all I like the gauges and would recommend if you don’t already have headspacing tools to measure brass for resizing to your rifle. My method to accurately know what my individual headspace for my chamber was to take a fired case and measure with the gauge. I then set up my resizing die to just bump the shoulder back .001 and then cycled the resized case into the rifle. I use thi...

First off this equipment was a gift for a friend who is trying too shoot long range and have a great score! I really don't know a lot about this subject but this is all he and others talked about and they said this was some of the best equipment to do that with. All the items came in in perfect shape and a really good price plus free shipping ,who could ask for more. I"m sure he"ll love these items. Next OP really helped me with this order and I want to thank them for all their help!
