Big, powerful, but not big enough sometimes - Hornady 110 Volt 9L Sonic Cleaner Hot Tub

My first thought opening the box was that this thing was huge. I've used a Hornady Magnum ultrasonic clearer for years but wanted something I could clear AR platform uppers in. Filled it up, turned it on, and was amazed at what the four transducers put out. It got hot quickly and the ultrasonic action was powerful. Then I got to my primary goal of cleaning AR uppers. My Sig 516 AR015 upper just didn't fit. If I removed the flash hider it would just go in, but who wants to go removing things for a product that is "designed" for it to fit? Needless to say my Sig 716 AR-10 was not going to fit, but even my dedicated .22 AR rifle wouldn't fit.

I was able to get all of them good and clean by had to do it by leaving part of the receiver out for half of the time, and then part of the barrel out for the other. The cleaning action was good, but the whole thing would be great if it were just 2 inches longer.
