love hornady
This is a great hat just to through on for work or going out or just a day of shooting I love hornady this is my fourth hat I like supporting my USA company’s they sell the best Ammo yeah it my be pricey but I’m sure everyone noes there worth it
Great hat for any occasion
I picked the sage green version and agree with another reviewer who pointed out the flat top - no button! I wish more hats skipped that little finishing touch. It results in zero pressure on top of your head if you still wear old school hearing protection without having to finagle the thing in front of or behind the button. It's a little lower profile overall, so the cap doesn't sink down to your eyebrows or over your ears with the hearing protection cinched down which then crushes you glasses onto your nose and ears. A very nice hat!

Excellent Shooting Cap!
My review applies to the sage green cotton cap. Hopefully my main comment goes for all their caps. The cap is well made, has the low profile that I love, and has nice detailing on the back - American flag tag, Hornady written on the backstrap, Hornady emblem above. But here’s the really cool detail: no top button! It is a rare hour in a rare day that I’m not wearing a cap, and I must have thirty in rotation. Every single one has a top button except this new Hornady. Who cares, you ask? If you wear ear muffs at the range, you care! The stupid top button ends up under the top strap and hurts! Not with this cap! Somebody at Hornady had their act together on this design, just like their ammo…

This is a great hat that fits well. Quality made and durable. Also, it shipped very quickly and was a great price. Optics Planet is great to deal with for all of your shooting, hunting and optics needs.
