A lil Q data set

Tests w CFE BLK, 4227, 4198, and H110 suppressed with both Mini Fix and Sugar Weasel and a matrix with both a Mojave 9, and Thunder Chicken. Off yoke and sandbag H110 was essentially sub MOA w 10.3 gr . All powders were decent worse being avg approx 2.6” three shot groups. Barrels were both 8 and 7” with 1:5 twist. Surprisingly a touch more accurate with Mojave 9 on M Fix but Thunderchicken comically more quiet- YMMV can go without hearing protection for a dozen or so rounds but since hearing loss is cumulative, I still use protection
Pros:
  • Happy with accuracy TBD on effectiveness hunting- anticipating going for head shots
Cons:
  • Meh unsuppressed but beat factory results with H110
Best Used for:
  • Tbd on deer hunting- unsurprssed Hornady 135gr supers harvested 2 deer last season

Sub X and 300 Blackout rifle.

Using a Bear Creek 16" upper with carbine length gas line, these bullets held a very good subsonic pattern at 100 yards. The free hat was a big plus also.

Perfect for loading subsonic home defense rounds. 11.5 - 12 grains of CFEBLK should get them to about 1,000fps out of my 10.5" barrel.
