Sensible for Storing Firearm in Vehicle
This lock box has a better locking system than some of the other ones that are available in this price range. I did purchase a stronger/thicker security cable because the one that is furnished is quite thin. Fits nicely under my car seat. Prompt shipping by OpticsPlanet.
Hornady Tripoint Lock Box
The Hornady Tripoint Lock Box was much heavier and thicker then I expected which is a good thing. Sadly some places I can't go into with my carry gun, And I don't like just tossing it under my seat in the car. I would hate for someone to break into my suv and use my gun to commit a crime or kill some one. I paid less then 30 with a coupon can beat it for the price. The lock is a little stiff to use at first but breaks in quickly. Can't go wrong on this one.

Decent little box
Decent enough little box to keep your gun in the car when you have to be 30.06 compliant.
The locking mechanism is a bit gritty at first. I used a few drops of Marvel Mystery Oil and kept working the lock until it smoothed out. Not a bad deal for $30.

Great product from hornady. Thick steel,stout cable and solid construction make this one a winner. With its tri point locking system this thing would be a bear to get into. I used the supplied cable and mounted it under my passenger seat. It goes where I go.
