Had it for a couple months now, wish it was a bit wider. The buttons for the passcode register all the inputs maybe half the time if you enter the code quick… which you would do in a home defense situation. If I had to do it again, I would probably check out some other options.

Systematic problem with interior damage
The inner shelf in these units is not secured for shipping. The shelf bangs around during shipment and damages the interior of the safe.
I have received 2 of these units. Both had notable damage to the interior foam and the metal coating. As a result, these units should be avoided.
It would have been so easy for these shelves to be wrapped in $0.05 of packing paper or bubble wrap.
The exterior looks good. The locking mechanism doesn't seem to have been damaged by the moving shelf.
