Best hearing protection I've ever used. Bought two pair. The headset performs two functions flawlessly. First, the earmuffs provide excellent hearing protection (NRR30) against harmful ambient noise levels such as shooting, car engines out on the race-track etc. Secondly, the headset electronically filters out and dampens harmful noise levels, while amplifying ambient environmental sound. There is an adjustment dial controlling the amplifiers. I Let my buddies demo these and they were blown away at how well they amplify sound. They could hear me whispering even though someone was shooting nearby. My younger kids wear them in the house so they can pretend they have super-hearing ! And with these on they do. Great bang for your buck. Try 'em once and I'd be amazed if you go back to regular earmuffs.
