These are in no way 28 DB of sound protection. I wore them at the range and felt like they barely lowered the sound of gun shots. I replaced the earpiece and not much better. The worse part is that they also do not enhance natural low sound. When talking to people, they sounded like tiny robots through the earbuds. So they don't reduce loud sounds to a safe level, and they don't enhance low sound to a hearable level... basically good for nothing. Feel like I wasted a lot of money on them. Back to using my reliable H.L. 23DB earmuffs, they work as expected. So the brand is good, its just this product is not.
