I originally bought this light for an emergency kit but find myself using it around the house for everyday tasks. I've only had it a few days and have already put it to good use. The regular flashlight isn't the brightest but still does a great job and is a nice feature. The real selling point is the lamp. It's super bright and casts a ton of light. Combine that with the ability to magnetically attach the light to a metal surface and you have the makings of a great impromptu work lamp. The light also has a charge indicator that lets you know when the power is getting low and when it's finished recharging. The device charging works as advertised but your device will not show the charging icon that you would normally see when it's plugged in to an outlet. The charging is not super fast but will come in handy if the power goes out and your phone is low.
