The machining on this cover plate looks great and the finish is very well executed. I like the look but the plate I received is missing the cut recess on the inboard side of the plate towards the firing pin. This lack of cutout puts increased pressure against the firing pin assembly. Notably, this increased the trigger pull and additionally caused a less crisp and harder trigger break; noticeably so. Firearms many times work in thousands of an inch tolerance, and this omission in manufacture lends me not to recommend this product until it's remedied. Specifically, the increased pressure most directly affects the sear where it touches the firing pin.
