Most Helpful Negative Review Broke trigger
I would not recommend this trigger to anyone because of the super thin wall on the right side while installing it on my trigger bar the right side of the trigger imprinted the trigger bar on the right side and made it none functioning.

Nice if it was working

I liked the shorter pull unfortunately it disabled my safety slide - it would not engage. California edition Shield 9mm. Installed my old trigger back in. Ordered Apex duty carry kit. $120 but mony well spent it works great.

Not what I thought?

I was excited to replace my M&P shield’s trigger after I saw the reviews and videos regarding this HYVE trigger. The result, after install, was not very good. This trigger wasn’t really an improvement over the factory trigger. Very disappointed with this trigger. As a result, I returned this product .

  • Solid metal, looks good

  • No improvement over factory trigger

Expected better

I went with the easier fix for the M&P 1.0 mushy trigger issue and this made an incremental improvement and I am content with it for now. I was able to find other sources for installation instructions that were not provided by HYVE that made a big difference so do your homework. Overall I am disappointed with the craftsmanship of the parts I received. I know enough about machined parts to know inferior work when I see it. All the parts seem to work as expected and look OK from a distance once assembled but the trigger contained flaws in the finish, cutter marks, chatter marks on the pin holes, and shortcuts taken in the process that just makes the parts look unfinished. If I were installing these on a nicer gun, I would have returned it. As I said, it made a minor performance improvement but still isn't up to par with my other pistols. Oh, and now I have a red trigger.

Great trigger and very good customer service

Really good trigger, don’t hesitate to buy it. I ordered one from Hyve Technologies months ago and they never sent it. It’s cheaper on optics planet and optics planet has much better customer service. Quick shipping too.

Big Difference

The trigger made the pistol a more desirable weapon. A big difference in trigger pull and noticable amount of less trigger creep. It will make you go from not liking to liking your pistol. You get a lot of value out of this trigger.

Hyve Shield Trigger Shoe

Nice little trigger shoe. Installation is very straight forward. The shoe was installed with the mcarbo spring kit. Be aware that you may have to relieve the frame a touch for proper operation. (Sides and rear of trigger pocket). Overall very happy with this trigger shoe.

  • May have to relieve some material from frame.

Hyve mo shield trigger shoe

Functions as described. Not a natural feel uncomfortable. You gave to think about finger placement to release the safety. After about five magazines, finger feels not so great from being pinched. Natural ginger position for me didnt release the safety for a smooth pull

  • Uncomfortable , your finger isnt placed naturally in the correct spot to releaee safety
