Provides a 45 degree offset for picatiny mounted accessories for ease of use - QUALITY!!!!
I wanted to mount a INFORCE compact light that is active by a rear thumb push bottom on a AR Pistol but did not want to place it top rail, side mounting would not allow proper hand position - so I required a 45 degree offset and slight push out forward of my existing 10” rail offering.
This mount did the trick. What is hard to tell from the picture is the six mounting holes that you can choose from to either 1) Center mount the 1913 rail, or 2) forward/rear offset by either one slot or two.
THe entire retail is high quality metal (can’t tell you what type) and the threads/mounting screw are NOT cheap. I have mounted and remounted several times without wear or scarring my rail or the mount.
The logo looked funky from the picture which I was worried about BUT when mounted up you really cannot see the logo at all, looks great on my MK18.
With combined use of an INFORCE low profile light I have NO visible or felt portions of the rail exposed, it consumed it up well providing the esthetics I was looking for and no corners or pieces for my hand to rub up on. I also believe this would be a great mounting option for a offset red dot.
You reallly can’t go wrong with this mount, easily configurable left right, top, forward, back. Great buy.
