Most Helpful Positive Review Good Value
The Inforce 6VX flashlight is the third I have owned, and is the most easily used of all, with different modes easily accessed. Small enough to be csrried loose in a pants pocket or to be carried by the clip provided. The thumb style activation and mode switch operates smoothly and is intuitive. A good value for the money spent. Pros: Tough, bright focused beam, efficient battery usage, easily carried, easy on/off and switch between modes Cons: setting strobe usage confusing, too easily changed without knowledge

Awesome light

by Randy, from NV, United States Written on January 25, 2017
I love this light! Very bright and the low light setting is perfect for writing and reading out on the street. I've been using it on duty for about 2 weeks now and it's still going strong! Nice and sleek design, I like it way better than my streamlines or surefires

Great Light

by danderson, from GA, United States Written on January 21, 2016
I purchased this light to carry as a backup. The first light I purchased as a replacement was an ElZetta A113 due to their high reviews on quality. It was advertised as a 315 lumen light. It may have been 315 lumens but the light put out a very wide dispersion and it had a yellow tint to it. I have an issued Surefire light but I wanted something lighter to carry in my pocket. After I returned the ElZetta, I stumbled upon the Inforce flashlight reviews. Between the weight of the light, it's positive reviews and it's price point, I decided to give a whirl.
I was immediately surprised at the throw of light this light provided and I haven't used it yet that I have regretted purchasing it. I enjoy nothing more than feeling I'm getting my money's worth. The light provides a very tight and bright center. The only negative I can add to this review has been mentioned previously by other reviewers. It is the provided clip, seems strong enough but when clipped to my front pocket, it rides too high. I can't use the clip while working because it constantly bumps my gun belt. I can only hope this product provides me with years of service.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Light seems brighter than 300 lumens
Cons:
  • None

InForce 6VX Tactical Flashlight

by Jeff, from NY, United States Written on September 2, 2015
The InForce 6VX is the best flashlight I have ever owned. It is reasonably priced and fully competitive with much more expensive flashlights. The 300 lumen high setting is ideal for use outdoors and in dark basements. The 40 lumen low setting is excellent for such tasks as map reading. This flashlight is very light and easy of handle.

Get the 6VT tactical Momentary Only

by ooga booga, from CA, United States Written on March 21, 2015
I purchased this 6VX over the 6VT only for the FDE color choice which the 6VT didn't come with, also because I'm using it to be weapon mounted, and I didn't like the grooves on the 6VT.

If you're looking for Momentary only feature, get the 6VT over this 6VX.

The 6VX performs as advertised, except the momentary only "press and hold" time is a little bit longer than 1/2 second, it feels more like just under a second. The difference is substantial as I can visually scan a section in under that time, and the light ends up going to constant on. It's not a big deal, as I put it on a plinker, but just so you know. Other than that, good to go. (Also makes a quiet humming noise when on, something to do with the LED heat "dissipator")
Pros:
  • compact
  • slim
  • competitive price
  • run time
Cons:
  • not heavy duty
  • not customizable
  • too many features
Best Used for:
  • plinking
  • Personal protection

Super bright flash light

by Andy, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on November 17, 2014
The flashlight is very bright. I like having the low beam option so the flashlight will last for many hours on that setting. The high beam is bright for when you need do search for things. The heat sink seems to work well because it didn't get hot even when on for 10 minutes. I really like the light weight but it is tough and durable also.
Pros:
  • light weight
  • Bright, crisp white light
Cons:
  • None

Excellent Weapons Light

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 18, 2013
Outstanding light, best of many I have used, including far more expensive brands. The very intuitive on/off and momentary controls should be copied by all other manufacturers. Perfect fit in a Haley Strategic SBR Thorntail mount, and light is not damaged or discolored after exposure to excessive muzzle blast from a BattleComp. Have now purchased several.
Pros: Featherweight, durable, bright, intuitive and programmable tail cap switch.
Cons: Raised boss for removable pocket clip slightly limits mounting options
