This flashlight is really something, light, bright, easy to handle, great warranty, and it's affordable. That about says it all, but if you want more... Wish it was waterproof and came with a holster, but no luck there. I can vouch for the long throw, as far as I can scope with my 12X I can illuminate with the light(600ft+/-). A weapon mount would be slick, and while I'm on the wish list, adjustable focus. I've used a few other high end lights and this one shines. Talk about tough. Drop mine frequently, used as a hammer in a tight spot... they do get uncomfortably warm, unless its cold out, after about an hour on high. Low is enough for most regular situations, it stays cooler, and runs longer(8hrs+ i think). The strobe effect is enough to stun a sober person, and I've seen it (unintentionally and indirectly pointed) cause someone under the influence to collapse from intensity. It is a purpose built tactical light. Grab a reserve battery and tube and it doubles as a "nightstick."
Bottom line-great light highly recommended by this guy.
Pros: 200+lumens, 2hr burn&charge, tough design, no battery memory!
