Irish Setter Boot still a great value
My new 83605 6 inch Irish Setter boots arrived today in perfect condition, in the original box packed with some "air pillow" packing cushions inside a strong outer box.
I expect these to last as long as my most recent pair of Irish Setters which I have enjoyed wearing for yard work for 28 years! (Of course if the new ones last that long I shall be 128 by then.)
My first Irish Setters were "A" width, so the "D medium" of the new ones is a little generous in width. I found that by adding a second pair of socks and a second inlay they are comfortable.
Very well made boots
This is the 2nd pair of these boots I have purchased for my 33 year old son. He raves about these. He says how comfortable they are. He works on roofs and says how great they grip. I am sure that I will be getting him another pair again. I highly recommend these.

Great boot
Very good boot especially for the price. Would have given it a five star but the shoe laces are a little funky and you have to adjust them all the time. The fit is great right out of the box and they last over a year with almost everyday wear

BA work boots
This is my third pair of Red Wing Irish Setters. I own a pair of more expensive Red Wings, but the Irish Setters are my go to for work and you can’t beat the Optics Planet price. I will be buying again.

High quality comfortable fit
I have very narrow feet and its hard to find a good fit. These are perfect. I love the flat soul because I have flat bottom feet with little arch. The leather is high quality and stitching is very good. These are my favorite work boots. Love them so much I wear them casual.
