The muffs work great for use at any outdoor range or around medium heavy equipment or small engines. Using them at the outdoor range I was able to hear conversations from other lanes at the firing line. As for the indoor range the walls were heavily packed with sound proofing, so it did cut down on the voice pick up on the muffs from the lanes around me. During my time at the indoor range, they put me next to a lane that was using an AR-10 giving me the ability to test the muffs Bluetooth to play music. The sound quality helped reduce the sound of the muzzle from the 308.

I do like that the muffs came with 2 AAA batteries and easy to change out.
