Not exactly drop in
Be sure to have a good set of files and emory cloth & a 5/32 drill bit. Had to file the sides of the barrel lugs to get it to go in the slide, inside the lugs to get the link to fit without binding and drill the link pin hole & polish the top of the hood but otherwise fit the Colt slide just fine & seems to shoot fairly well but only fired 5 rounds through it so far.
It Works, but nothing special
As others have said, get a good set of files and get ready to work. In addition to the normal filing to fit, I had a burr in between the barrel feet, where the link rotates. But after an hour or so of fine filing in all the right places, the gun cycles great. No 1911 barrel is drop in ready (unless you drop it off at your gunsmith). Its an inexpensive barrel, lacking refined machining that needs to be fitted to your 1911.

Fit great!
The barrel fit perfect after I polished the sides of the barrel lug near the feet. I put it in a series 70 colt full size 45 Raritan arsenal rebuild. Cycles well with my silencerCo suppressor running standard ball ammo.
