After EXTENSIVE research, days of online reviews, videos, and talking to trade professionals... I bought the J. Dewey kit for my AR10. Its best features are the "coated" one piece rod and the bore guide that prevents rod off-centering and contact to the chamber throat and barrel walls. It's high quality, very easy to use, and does a quick and extremely thorough job. It combines the very best features in a small kit that contains EXACTLY what you need. The cleaning rod is free to "spin" so cleaning patches lodge in and follow barrel grooves. Other kits contain a lot of things you don't need and the things you DO need aren't of good quality or designed specifically for your caliber and/ or "attention" to quality is not focused on individual parts for your caliber, it's focused on marketing a "do all" kit. I highly recommend the J. Dewey kit... it will protect your weapon from damage and wear that comes from cleaning, and it will do a superb job of getting your barrel properly and thoroughly cleaned.

High quality product that makes cleaning your AR a breeze. Highly recommend it! The product is exceptional and the quality of everything included is great. Would not hesitate to buy another product from Optics Planet or J Dewey.
