Tip is small enough to fit into a 223
My Mini14 has to be cleaned from the muzzle end (or with a snake but that doesn't count), and the plastic one of these that I had wasn't narrow enough to fit into the barrel. This brass one is "sharp" enough to do so.
Would recommend: Yes
protect that muzzle.
Works great with my Dewey cleaning rod, protecting my muzzle when I seasoning & polishing the bore on new guns , anyone that has done a proper barrel seasoning knows it takes 50 to 80 ( shoot clean , shoot clean, shoot clean sessions ) to season a barrel properly before you start trying different ammo to see what your gun will like!
