Incorrect listing information!
Turns out this is a nice barrel but the listing has wrong information! The correct thread pitch is 1/2 X 36"NOT 1/2 X 28" which is what the listing describes. I bought this barrel and a Kaw Valley slim XL compensator in 1/2 X 28" and I destroyed the compensator because it cross threaded! Very disturbing. I took it to my gunsmith who had to cut the compensator off and luckily saved the barrel because it is steel and the compensator is aluminum and it shredded the threads in the compensator. I alerted Optics Planet lets hope they make this right! If you buy this barrel get a muzzle device with a 1/2 X 36 thread pitch not what the listing states and Optics Planet needs to update the information for this barrel!

Barrel Length
Does the quality of this barrel seem to be very nice? Yes. However, the actual length of the barrel is not the length advertised. If you are looking for a barrel which will just pass your handgaurd, then this barrel does not have the correct dimensions listed if you need something exact. Optics Planet in addition does not pay for shipping for the return even though it is not your fault the product is not as described.
