Good, not great
Good carbon fiber handguard, but feels rushed and unfinished. The carbon fiber has a very rough texture to it, as opposed to competitors, whos have a much smoother finished feel. All of the routed edges are still sharp, some even having fiber strands hanging off still. Has a good dimension to it versus competitors, and is not too bulky in the hand. The top is not full m-lok which is also a downside, only allowing an m-lok slot at the front end for one sight. Could be perfect if the finish work was a bit better.
Works for my purpose
Fit is a bit difficult. The barrel nut does not have enough notches for the gas tube. In order to get the nut timed correctly for the gas tubing you would have to way over torque the nut or leave it loose. Neither is an option for me. I shimmed the nut and it worked. Finish is a little bit less than ideal. Overall it was worth it for me as I am more interested in the weight savings. It is strong and stable enough to work.
Pros:
- Stable and light
Cons:
- Design is incomplete
Best Used for:
- Saving weight

Super lightweight 15” 308 Handgaurd
This handguard will 100% fit aero precision enhanced upper barrel nut on the AR15 upper (not the 308 upper) I know because I have one and I tried it. The cuts in the HG are super sharp so it feels kinda rough’ I lightly sanded the cut edges with 300 grit and it feels way better. It’s not as light as the description says it is or as light as they say in the Q&A. I have the 15” AR 308 and it weighs exactly 6oz with the barrel nut and screws. I talked to guy who designed these handguards ( Resurgent arms) and he told me the Ar-15 & the AR 308 are exactly the same except the barrel nut’ so it will work as is with the barrel nut it comes with on a 308 or on the aero AR-15 enhanced upper or the barrel nut that comes with the larger diameter aero AR-15 handguards. Im putting mine on a super lightweight AR-308 that should come in @ 4lbs 5oz. I rate it at 4 stars since its not as light as advertised and the cuts feel rough. If you’re not building super lightweight than its not worth $300 unless you only care about the weather resistance’ it doesn’t get hot during rapid fire or cold if you’re hunting in the snow. I have other carbon fiber handguards on other builds so I have experience with them. Its also super rigid and doesn’t flex like aluminum does.
Pros:
- Super light weight
- Doesnt get hot or cold
Cons:
- Not as light as advertised
- Cuts feel rough
Best Used for:
- Lightweight builds where money is no object

If you have the skills this is great.
Much modification and torquing required. If you want it aligned properly you may need two additional adults and a vice. Shims would make the process for use and installation much more effective. But a quality product overall.
Best Used for:
- Shooting Sports
