Most Helpful Positive Review requires channel liner
For those of you wondering, YES you need to purchase a channel liner for this slide. It does not come pre-installed. I couldn't find any information online about this so I called JCS and they specifically told me that it was included. Slide arrived quickly, quality looks good...low and behold no channel liner inside. For wasting my time while I wait for a parts kit to come, you lose a star. Haven't actually shot it yet.

Top shelf slide, even better customer service

by Smash, from FL, United States Written on March 7, 2022
The slide looks and functions amazing, has tight tolerances, has a quality coating, and a lifetime warranty. Its better quality than slides twice the price. I would have given it a 5 star review based on that alone, but i had an issue with my slide (which turned out to be my fault.) They quickly replied to my email and were great about the issue. Its american made, veteran owned and operated. If you are thinking about running an optic (which you should be, if you are still running irons.) I would highly recommend this.
Pros:
  • Lighter, easier to grip/rack the slide, optic ready
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Wanting to run an optic, custom builds

Looks nice.

by Levi, from IN, United States Written on January 25, 2022
Looks great just like in the pictures. Everybody who sees my pistol says that's bad***. It fit my polymer 80 frame with no issues. All the parts went in with no issues. Seems to be good quality steel.

Amazing quality, fit, and finish.

by Smash, from FL, United States Written on January 20, 2022
Impressed with the slide, and happy to support a company from my local area. (Tampa, fl) The slide is obviously well made and looks great. No problems with parts fitting. The od green finish looks great. I have nothing but good things to say so far, but i will give an update after a few sessions at the range and put 500-1k rounds through it, and see how it compares to other a.m. slides and the stock glock slide.
Pros:
  • Quality metal and machining, Price point,
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Running an optic, wo having to mil your slide. Tacticool points.

Best bang for your buck

by Yota, from NC, United States Written on January 9, 2022
Fantastic slide, awesome customer service, and reasonable price. You can spend a lot more on other slide and still not get as good of quality as a jcs slide. I have a compact a full size that have become my go to be guns. Even with high round counts they still function smooth and the cerekote has held up wonderfully, even after being edcd for a year
Pros:
  • best bang for your buck
Cons:
  • No recoil lugs for optic
Best Used for:
  • Carry, range, comp, everything
Would recommend: Yes

Best bang for your buck

by Yota, from NC, United States Written on January 9, 2022
I run a 19 and 17 bonesaw. The g19 slide has north of 20k rounds and counting. The cerekote still looks great after a year plus of edc. I've been thoroughly impressed with both of my jcs slides. It's the smoothest functioning slide I own, but far from the most expensive. I will continue to buy JCS products
Pros:
  • best bang for your buck
Cons:
  • No lugs for the optic
Best Used for:
  • Range, carry

I have been waiting for almost a month when I received the slide there are a lot of small nicks where the coating was off and it was very dirty……almost looks like it has been used…..not very impressed
