Most Helpful Negative Review holes too big
The holes for the screws are too big. They do not fit screws that go into typical 1911 grips. The product description also does not say the right type of screw to use. Even if I manage to find a screw that fits the holes, I'm not sure that they will fit the grips for it.

The grip looks solid well machined, feels good on the hand. Fits the panels I got. I have no problem installing it.

AR 1911 grips

After reading the reviews and understanding the the standard grip screws do not fit, i took a chance. I had to go to Menards and find screws that fit. After searching i found some that did fit, however the pitch was not the same so i put some oil on the threads and gently screwed them in and it worked. Put on some G10s. I had to modify the screw holes on the grip panels for them to fit more flush. If your willing to go through this then this might be a worth while purchase.

Batteries not included

Good grip, very well machined. The section where the web of your thumb goes doesnt mateup 100% with the standard AR lower, but peanuts. Finish on it is great, but theres a lot here thats not included nor mentioned that you need. It does not include grip screws, but the 1911 screws won't fit it either. The threads on this grip are cut for 1911 grip bushings, so you need those too. In short, you need 4 grip screws and 4 grip bushings.

This grip is totally awesome and gives you literally 100s of options by using any 1911 grip on the market the near straight grip angle is a game changer for anyone shooting action steel or 3 gun I look forward to putting them on most of my AR platforms. Thanks Optics Planet great deal.
