Not the highest quality brake, but it’s small, light, and gets the job done - JE Machine Tech AR-10/LR-308 Muzzle Brake

I’ll start this off by saying I actually really like this brake, it’s small and light and suits my lightweight AR very well. With that said, there were a few issues I encountered that I think a would be buyer should be made aware of, first there is no crush washer included, which is to be expected with a brake at this price but I thought I’d put that out there, luckily I had plenty of unused crush washers lying around so this wasn’t an issue. Second, the finish is not that good on it, installing it with a proper sized wrench and with the correct amount of torque, I still marred the finish on the brake and there’s not much I can do about that. Lastly, and this is probably the worst thing about this brake, is that it fit on rather loose, so timing and alignment was somewhat of an issue, but luckily I was able to remedy this with a good amount of grease , a great crush washer and a good eye. With all that said, this is a fantastic brake and the machine work is solid, no sharp edges to cut your fingers in and no flakes or burrs that I can see. Once it was fitted, it stayed on rock solid and aside from a few marks left when installing, it looks really solid. If it wasn’t for the loose fitment initially, I would have given this five stars
