I have nothing but good thing's to say about this light if there was one thing I wish it had that it does not is some sort of attachement that let's you cigar grip the light better to better enable it's great moentary on feature.
For those of you new to flashlight's most of you have heard all the talk of the Cree XML's...etc which are great led's there is not alot of tak about the MT-G2 led that is in this light.
The XML's throw a more distant beam the MT-G2 does a fairly decent job at distant lighting but it's main purpose is to "flood" and area with an insane amount of light basicly this led was designed to make it possible to use one LED to achieve this sort oflight without using multiple led's.....for an example I have a flashlight that uses three XM-L2 led's and it is designed to be a flood light and this Jetbeam WL-S4 destroy's the three XM-L2's allby itself.
The MT-G2 does just about everything right but it has two con's...first it get's hot and it will heat up any flashlight it is put in and the WL-S4 does a great job at controlling this with it's driver and heatsinking and the second con of the Led is it eat's batteries for breakfest, lunch and dinner so be prepared to buy the best possible protected 18650 batteries you can afford I reccomend Panasonic only some companies actualy slap there own label over actual Pansonic batteries and these are Xtar,Orbotronic,Thrunite <-- these containthe panasonic battery at discounted price.
The flashlight itself is beautifly c...
