I built a 300 BLK pistol, and used the JP Enterprises spring assist kit. This is a must-have kit to complement the main unit- in reality, they should package these springs in with the full unit. You cannot fine-tune it without these springs. Once you have the gas port adjustment set as a "coarse" adjustment, use these springs as a "fine" adjustment. Watch how the shell ejects- optimal setting is when the shell ejects at 90 degrees, and you are good to go!
Pros:
  • Fine adjustments complete the finished product like a pro.
Cons:
  • Expensive, but worth it if you are a serious shooter.
Best Used for:
  • Preventing tyranny, one statist at a time.
