The cherry on top...

Written on Aug 05, 2018

I built a 300 BLK pistol, and used the JP Enterprises spring assist kit. This is a must-have kit to complement the main unit- in reality, they should package these springs in with the full unit. You cannot fine-tune it without these springs. Once you have the gas port adjustment set as a "coarse" adjustment, use these springs as a "fine" adjustment. Watch how the shell ejects- optimal setting is when the shell ejects at 90 degrees, and you are good to go!

Pricey and expensive...worth every dime.

This trigger is not for beginners. Several people posted complaints about compatability issues, price, etc. If you don't do your homework, don't complain. If this trigger costs more than your Del-ton, don't buy it, plain and simple. On to the good stuff... Best. Trigger. Ever. 200 rounds through it on the first day, not ONE issue. Daniel Defense receiver, Adams Arms Piston kit, J P Industries spring capture, 18" 223 Wylde with Venom brake. You have to learn the tricks to install it, and a simple trick to close the receivers. DEFINITELY worth the learning curve. On semi, the trigger breaks around 4.5 lb and is a crisp smooth single-stage trigger. On Echo mode, a double-tap is more natural than a single semi shot! Seriously, you won't believe it's the same gun. Accurate rapid-fire shots are very possible with a 'lil practice. The difference between a bump-stock and this, are like Fred Flintstone and Mario Andretti. It is a precision upgrade for serious shooters.

Subtle, inexpensive and functional upgrade.

So... the humble trigger guard. How can you jazz up a simple trigger guard? Strike Industries NAILED it on this! It has a feed ramp on the front for magazines which actually does a great job- it really is noticeable how well it works. The finger rest works well, too. It comes with 3 screws to attach to your lower, so no possibility of breaking off the flanges on your lower. Lotsa material has been removed for weight savings, but it still feels quite stout. The fit and finish is perfect. The more you consider this, the more you will realize how much thought went into the design. Oh, by the way, and it looks tacticool, as well.
