Vinnie's Review of JP Enterprises Recoil Eliminator
Using on a Mossberg Patriot chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. The audible volume of the shot is increased 10 fold, but the recoil is reduced 25 fold. You can shoot the rifle with the stock barely touching your shoulder, and it won't beat you up at all. Firing a whole box of ammo was a pleasure instead of the bruised arm and sore shoulder you would normally get. I also enjoy the looks of it a lot. If you are getting this for an AR-10 in .308, I would bet that the recoil would almost be non-existent.
I know it sounds stupid, but make sure you put the muzzle brake on correctly- the brake should have the narrower part of the tip facing up with the wider part facing down (Just like in the photo) and it is important that the brake is installed level with the barrel of the gun. I saw a review of a shooter that said the brake was terrible since the guns muzzle launched up after every shot. Come to find out, he installed it with the wide part on top.
Highly recommended!

Pros:
- Comfort
- control
- Recoil Reduction
Cons:
- size could be an issue
- noise (all muzzle brakes increase noise, but this one considerably so)
Best Used for:
- Target shooting
- hunting (Mind the increased noise)
