Most Helpful Negative Review Liked these spring during the summer only
I liked these spring replacements for the summer when I installed them. Reduced trigger pull, nice. But when I tried shooting the next winter in 25 to 35 degree weather, I got misfire after misfire and had to remove the springs because they are not reliable year round.

great inexpensive upgrade

The mil spec is ok but this spring kit lowers the pull weight and makes it seem like a crisper break. It's not a hard install with someone with a little ability. Would recommended all day.

brought trigger pull down about 2lbs

I've installed 4 of these spring kits in milspec triggers from PSA, Spikes Tactical and Aero Precision. I have not had any light primer strikes with any of these ARs. Along with the springs, I also lightly stone polished all the contact surfaces on the milspec triggers to a shine and use a very light grease on the contact points. None of my milspec triggers broke at less than 6lbs but all felt lighter and crisper on the break and reset. JP says 4.5lbs with their trigger components. If you get light primer strikes with your milspec trigger, you either need to bob the hammer(cut off the hook end to make the hammer lighter) or keep the stock hammer spring installed.

Very easy to install onto several stock triggers. Easy and cheap upgrade. Makes very light trigger pull. Not recommended for home defense weapons.

Easy budget upgrade

Picked up for my first AR which came full milspec stock. Ambi safety added a wrinkle but overall easy install and the trigger difference is noticeable.

JP Enhanced Spring Kit worked for me

This is a cheap and easy way to get a lighter trigger pull from a mil spec trigger. My AR9 has a mil spec trigger and it's a little stiff. Easy installation. Test fire at range went well. Trigger pull was lighter but not too light, and I had no failure to fire issues. I'm ordering another set.
