Smooth cycling and charging. Pairs well with your suppressor setups

Excellent product works just as described. I am very glad I put this in my life for with the suppressor it reduces the recoil.

As the title says you’ll all but delete the recoil on an AR with normal pressured 5.56. You’ll also get rid of that spring snap inside the buffer tube. Makes for an extremely smooth recoil impulse. Very good for building more consistent and faster follow up shots. I would only question its long term durability under heavy use and extreme conditions if used on a duty or EOLW build

Butter, very smooth operation. Turns any spring sound in the buffer tube into smoothness. No more twang sound when you charge the rifle.

This product replaces the mil spec buffer spring that sounds like a cheese grater. The gun runs very quiet with this replacement buffer spring assembly.

This is my third JP Enterprises Gen 2 Silent Captured Buffer Spring System I installed on my AR 15, You really notice the smooth cycle when firing. A very nice upgrade to any new build or for an existing AR 15.

Used for my second build. Pair this with JP's buffer tube makes for a better experience because they actually prep the inner side of tube to work with their buffer spring to optimize noise control. Remember to add a quarter in the tube (the included spacer is just a tad thinner, at least you have that option) to give this a snug fit.

This is a top tier buffer system. I didn't pair it with their BCG, but will do in my next build! works fine if you keep your standard (weight) mil-spec BCG. This is my home defense / range build, but this system can be part of a specialized build if you are considering pairing it with other JP components.

Overall, highly recommended.

PS - their instructions mention you do not have to stake the buffer tube nut on the receiver because it is meant to be maintenance (whatever that means), but it made for an easier install - just use some 243 lactate and wait 24 hours before use!

I have a 300 BO that was having issues with subsonic ammo. I tried all the buffers I had and would still get a few failure to feed with subsonics. I do not have an adjustable gas block, gas block and port are aligned and tried multiple BCGs. I had bought this buffer for another build and tried it in the carbine, and it has work flawlessly since. I am not sure why, but happy it did.

I have had this Buffer set up in multiple platforms, also suppressed non suppressed it performs every time. I had this one for maybe 3/4 years and use it in my main rifle and don’t have to worry about buffer weights or springs, and again performs. Great buffer!
